In this class, we will be learning everything about fabrics! Do you want to learn the difference between an organza, a taffeta, and a tulle? Do you have questions about when to use a stretch fabric, and when to use a non-stretch fabric? Have you ever struggled to dye a cotton and polyester blend? Do all of these words mean nothing to you??? Then come on down! Shean will be bringing a wide variety of fabric samples to look at, feel, and learn about, bring a project, or just bring your curiosity, as we take a crash course in fabrics! Feel free to bring your own sewing machine, but sewing machines will also be available for you. BRING YOUR OWN MATERIALS!
Lessons are held Tuesday, 4/14, from 5:30pm to 7pm, at The Rainbow Nook in Jamaica Plain. Classes are sliding scale to make them accessible to all, please pay what you can!
