In this class, we will be learning how to work with faux fur! Whether you’re looking to make costumes, fursuit parts, plushies, or more, we’ll be going over the basics of cutting, sewing, and keeping your lungs safe while working with fur. Bring a project you’re working on, wanting to start, or just come to learn for later! Feel free to bring your own sewing machine, but sewing machines will also be available for you. BRING YOUR OWN MATERIALS!
MATERIALS REQUIRED: Faux fur, & A mask! (Shean will provide some scrap fur!)
Lessons are held Tuesday, 3/24, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, at The Rainbow Nook in Jamaica Plain. Classes are sliding scale to make them accessible to all, please pay what you can!
